The course is given by Simon Millyard, a qualified engineer with many years experience of internal combustion engines and machinery. 

He has a wealth of knowledge on all things mechanical and often with lawn mowers. 

Having spent ten years at sea as a ship\'s Engineer Officer, he gravitated ashore to various engineering roles in factories, breweries and latterly lifeboats.
